Welcome back to Term 4! We hope you have had a fantastic break and are ready for the final term for 2015!
BLAST: Was a great success last term. Classes will continue this term with some exciting new inquiry investigations. Be sure to pop on in and see what exciting things are happening in classes. Remember that BLAST stands for: Big Ideas Learning Asking Questions Sharing Thinking Critically
Teachers and students will cover topics and themes that are based on Student Voice and Teacher Passion. We want children to be learning how to learn – developing an identity as a ‘lifelong learner’ and having a greater emphasis on a more holistic approach – the interconnected nature of knowledge, not discrete subject learning. We will be creating freedom for students to move purposely from one learning environment to the next, supported by educators who have the opportunity to flex with student curiosity, need, passion and direction.
Important Term Four Dates:
Week 1 - Thursday 15th - National Shake Out Drill
Week 8 Monday 30th - Walk Through Xmas (year 1-3) Wednesday 2nd & Thursday 3rd - Year 1-3 Lorax Production

primary school pool
At the end of Term 3, the very clever Mrs McDougall organised a portable pool (heated by the way) to be installed at school to help teach our young students to swim. Over the holidays this pool was constructed with the help of many people, a humongous thank you to all those that did help. Check out the photos of the construction of the pool.
Your child's teacher will inform students when they can begin to bring their togs to school.
